Frequently Asked Questions

  • I currently offer virtual outpatient therapy to teens, young adults, and families who reside in the state of California. Sessions are 50-minutes.

  • Getting started is simple. Reach out through the contact form to schedule a free 30 minute consultation call. You don’t need anything prepared. This is an opportunity for you to tell me a little bit about why you’re reaching out. It’s also a chance for you to get to know what support I can offer. If we’re a good fit, we can schedule an session.

If we decide we’re not a good fit, I’ll help you find someone who is.

  • I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. However, many clients may use their out-of-network benefits to be reimbursed for part of the cost of therapy.

In this case, I will provide you with a monthly superbill to submit to your insurance company, which includes what they need to process your claim.

Before we start, call your insurance company to learn about your benefits. Here’s what to ask:

    • What are my out-of-network mental health benefits?

    • What percentage of the session fee is reimbursed?

    • Is there a deductible I need to meet first?

    • What is needed for reimbursement?

  • My fee is $200 for individual sessions and $250 for family sessions. Sessions are 50-minutes.

I offer a limited number of reduced fee spots in my practice to help make therapy more accessible.

Reduced fee spots are for clients who are not otherwise able to access or continue therapy at the full rate. If you’re interested, we can talk openly about whether my reduced fee is manageable for you. These spots are limited and may not always be available.
